The number nine has much prophetic significance and serves as an indicator to what you will experience in the upcoming year.

Nine is the number of manifestation as that which has been germinating and developing comes to full term and is birthed.  It is also the number of fruitfulness and productivity.  Hence, you can expect to be very productive in the coming year and as a result of that, very busy.  It is a season of harvest.

In mathematical science the number nine has properties and powers that no other number has.  For instance, when you take the numbers that make up multiples of nine and add them together you will get nine.  Two times nine is eighteen.  18.  1 + 8 = 9.

Therefore, expect a supernatural display of God's power as He does in this year things that you thought could and would not be accomplished.

The ninth letter of the Hebrew alphabet is Tet (pronounced tate) and has a numerical value of nine.  This resembles both a snake coiled in a basket and the pregnant womb of a woman.  The significance of Tet is that it suggests the hidden potential for good or evil which one must properly discern in order to identify.  Thus, nine is the number of judgment, the ability to rightly distinguish between good and evil and make a sound decision based on the evidence presented.

Thus, the upcoming year will require good decision making skills as you are presented with a myriad of choices and opportunities.

Nine is also the number of finality as it brings all preceding numbers to an end.  The upcoming year will signal the end of certain cycles, patterns and seasons of your life.  You must take 2009 to prepare to enter a new decade as we approach 2010.

Therefore, the number nine brings with it a completion of all that went before it.  Expect to see the fulfillment of a decade of promises that must come to pass before we enter the next one.

There is much that will occur in the year 2009.  Hence we encourage you as never before to stay on the path.  With every thing that will be happening and at the speed that it will happen, you will be glad to have a path already cut and prepared for you.  The Word of God is that path and if you apply the principles found therein you will be successful.
